    I would just point out that the Alawites have tortured and murdered people for decades to stay in power. They are not some innocent party. It sucks that it happens. But you can’t do one without the other.

      Putting the shoe on the other foot isn’t justice. Have trials for specific crimes for sure. But random extrajudicial killings are just more of the same shit. The trick is to be better.

      So guilt by association. Wipe out entire families including children who have no political understanding.

      I suppose if the Yahweh cultists can do it to the Palestinians why can’t the Allah cultists do it the the Alawites.

        I see it more like a situational revenge. If you read the article, loyalists did kill over 200 civilians during the rebellion. By syrian standards, 700 deaths in response to 200 is almost understandable. At leat predictable.

      Yeah, I mean, they stood by while hundreds of thousands were murdered. If they stayed after the asad regime fell, then they signed their own death warrant, just like MAGAts in America
