Global warming makes coffee harder to cultivate, that restricts the supply, hence the price hikes. I guess coffee is going to be a luxury item in the future.

While the world is focused on its own problems, far right populism, and what not, we are oversleeping a great opportunity to rein in global warming. I guess the kids of our kids will read about this time in their history books and wonder how stupid and egocentric we were back then.

The US is on a way to piss off all of its trading partners and former allies.

In Germany the official Gigabyte shop sells those for 1141€. This is completely nuts.

The sad part is that in Europe on Amazon the Gigabyte store sells RX 9070 XT for 1150€. That’s absolutely grotesque. Mind you this card is supposed to be 550$ before tax, after tax it shouldn’t be more expensive than 650€ and Gigabyte is charging 80% on top of that. Who needs scalpers with businesses like that.

Problem is trust is lost instantly and won over time.

At this stage I trust the UK and France more than I trust the US. Not to mention the security implications that Trump is a crony of Putin.

He also lifted all restrictions and sanctions on the violent settlers imposed by Biden. So he is definitely favouring one side.

The EU should sign a trade agreement with Canada and Mexico and we should strengthen our economic and military cooperation. Screw the orange boys.

To be honest all those tariffs even when lifted will make a lot of people simply avoid American products, and you know people change habits and will have a long lasting effect on your economy.

To be honest right now China has more legs than the US. The US has been on the wrong side of history for way too long.
