Makes sense.
Makes sense.
Should matter or shouldn’t matter?
I looked and it seems these hotspots are Verizon-specific. Is that what we’re supposed to get?
That’s fair.
Naturally.
I’m not gonna lie, it’s really tempting to just sell my 7900XTX for basically what I paid for it ($1000) and pick up a 9070XT for $600 instead. Easy $400 that I can throw at my motorcycle project.
This is one of the few things I can get behind with machine learning. Locally run, doesn’t “phone home”, just analyzes faces and categorizes them. That’s it.
Same. I’m happy with my 7900XTX that I bought in 2023.
These days I only use Amazon for small things, and lately have decided to go back to individual specific websites for whatever it is I need. There’s hardly even a price difference at this point.
Trump is a narcissist. Fascism is historically a direct result of narcissists getting into power.
I was married to a narcissist for 11 years. I could come up with any idea, but unless she thought of it first, she hated it. And then she’d have the exact same idea a week later and love it. I had to use that against her during our divorce to get the kids out of the house and into a proper routine somewhere safe (my parents’ place a state away) while we worked out the details of the divorce. If I had pushed for it more and not let her think it was her idea, she would have vetoed it on the spot.
As my therapist says: if you understood them, you’d be just like them.
It’s really not that heavy. I have Immich - and several other services - running on a 4-core VM with 16GB RAM, running on 7th gen Intel hardware alongside another 4c/16GB VM and several LXC containers. It does the job just fine with more than enough overhead.
Because Biden did it. That’s it. It’s a huge thing and it doesn’t have Trump’s name on it, therefore it’s bad and needs to go away.
Imagine livestreaming video from 4G-connected rovers and other cameras on the moon, right to your phone, whenever you want. That would be wild…
A-GPS works faster than GPS on its own.
I’ve started seeing it from people talking about Windows.
Awww… iTunes is that bad now? Man…last time I used iTunes was probably 2010 or so. Bummer.
Oh I believe it.
And people ask me “why” when I chose LMDE over Ubuntu-based Linux Mint.
This shit is why. Canonical is huffing their own farts at this point. Don’t dangle shit in front of me if it comes at a price. And yes, I know Linux Mint isn’t under Canonical, but at this point I would rather not support anything Ubuntu-related.
Yeah, so Ring cameras?
Every GPS-capable device made in the last decade utilizes GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo.
Phones already do that with cell towers. It’s called A-GPS (augmented GPS). Cell towers, wifi, and even bluetooth, are used in addition to GPS/GLONASS/Galileo signals.
Good for you, except OP is clearly using a desktop PC.
